Why Ooni?
Ooni revolutionized outdoor cooking and created a new category when the company launched the world’s first portable pellet pizza oven in 2012. Since then Ooni ovens have made it possible for people to make a delicious wood-fired pizza in their own back garden and for a fraction of what traditional brick-and-mortar ovens cost.
In 2011, Kristian Tapaninaho created the Ooni after finding his own pizzas lacking.
