- Use a knife to peel and slice your potatoes into the thickness of fries that you want to have.
- Place your potato chips in a bowl and cover with cold water. Soak in the fridge for 15 minutes to remove the excess starch.
- After you’ve drained and dried your potatoes, season them and add extra virgin olive oil to your bowl. Mix with your hands until the potatoes are well coated.
- When air frying, preheat the air fryer to 200C/400F. This will shorten your cook time and give you a crispier result.
- Prepare the chips in the air fryer as directed on the packaging. Cook for 20 to 25 minutes, shaking the basket every 10 minutes to prevent sticking and to ensure even cooking. If after 25 minutes the chips are not crispy enough, cook them for a few more minutes until they reach your desired crispness.
